Job description
Our client is a well-known global brand/asset owner operating in the retail and hospitality sector, seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver both new developments and capital works across Victoria. With an extremely healthy pipeline during a period of growth, you'll manage end-to-end delivery across retail construction projects ranging from $500K - $30M.

- Manage the delivery of new site builds and refurbishments across VIC. Managing external and internal contractors, designers, consultants, and stakeholders
- Coordinate contractors, landlords, engineers, designers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and safely
- Oversee WHS, contract admin, tendering, and project performance.
- Prepare costings, program, and support capex approvals.
- Participate in post-project reviews and drive improvements.
- Work closely alongside the development & design teams
- Proven Project Management experience in retail or hospitality construction projects (highly desirable)
- Experience in delivering base builds and fit-out construction projects
- Client side PM experience is highly desirable
- Prior contractor experience in roles of Contract Admin, Site Engineer, Project Engineer, and Project Manager is also highly desirable
- Strong contract admin and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of general building from all lifecycle phases of construction
- A degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or similar is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout VIC (costs covered)
