Join a dynamic and professional builder with over 30 years of experience in NSW, renowned for their strong client partnerships and commitment to quality and bespoke customer experiences. The Company is known for its family-friendly and forward-thinking culture, collaborating with reliable subcontractors to deliver exceptional results.

Company Profile
They specialisation includes projects within the educational, commercial, and government sectors, with project values up to $15M. Work includes new construction and fitout/refurbishments. Leveraging mid-tier systems and multiple accreditations, and expecting a busy second half of 2024, particularly with state and federal government projects. With a team of around 30 staff, and plans to steadily grow this and focus on larger construction projects.

The Position
As a Project Manager, you will be deeply involved in early tender processes, programming, and client management, working closely with your Site Manager to deliver projects in collaboration with subcontractors and the site team. You will oversee project financials and drive schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.

This role reports to the Construction Manager. The salary, based on experience, ranges from $200K to $230K.

Ideal Background
  • Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience in delivering commercial new build projects, particularly in the educational or commercial sectors – valued $5M +
  • Strong ability to maintain key client relationships and handle front-end project responsibilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of the local market and established connections with local subcontractors
  • Capability to plan, manage, and deliver multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with all stakeholders
  • Effective negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in IT, especially Excel and Procore
