Start Date: On site by 8th December
Initial Handover: Final 2 weeks of December
Contract Resumes: 5 January for approximately 2 months
Roster: 2/1 FIFO

About the Opportunity
 
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide short-term gap relief cover for a full-time employee with a respected national civil contractor. This role is ideally suited to a seasoned civil construction professional who is available to mobilise within the next two weeks.
 
You will initially join the team by 8th December, working closely with the current Project Manager to complete a comprehensive handover across the last two weeks of the year. After the Christmas break, you will return on 5 January to manage project delivery for the following 2 months on a 2/1 FIFO roster.
The Project
You will oversee a regional road upgrade project in South Australia, with key scope including:
  • Earthworks
  • Pavement construction
  • Contractor management
  • Safety and quality leadership
  • Program and cost oversight
This is a critical operational role requiring a Project Manager who can step in seamlessly, maintain strong site leadership, and keep the project moving through a key delivery period.
About You
To be considered, you will have:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience delivering road construction projects for a civil contractor
  • Demonstrated capability managing earthworks and pavements
  • Proven track record in leading teams, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring safe, productive site operations
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Availability to start by 8 December and commit through January-March
