About the company

Our client is a state-wide Government agency within the Transport sector who operate across Sydney and NSW. They work supporting road maintenance and construction projects. 

About the role

Brownfield projects in the roads and structures space across a large portfolio of minor and major projects being delivered to improve the commuter experience across inner and Western Sydney.
You will be expected to work as a project engineer managing between 5-10 projects ranging from $500k- $3m each in value.
Typical projects will include upgrade of bridges and pavements as well as road resurfacing, utility relocation and tunnel projects.
Other project areas could be enabling works in conjunction with other major Sydney projects currently being delivered or in the pipeline.
 
For example a project would be widening a road to put in a new left hand turn into an intersection.

This is a long term contract role for 10 months with the possibility of a 12 month extension.
 
Skills & experience 

Experience working on RMS projects is an advantage though other state authority or local council infrastructure experience is accepted.
 
Ideally you will be able to self-deliver in the following areas;

  • Delivery
  • Civil engineering degree
