CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have been approached by a new client to source a Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of a recently awarded project in North QLD.
 
Reporting to the Project Mangar as Project Engineer you will be responsible for resource planning, developing construction methodologies, administering contracts, managing subcontractors and managing project risk. The project is a Road Construction Upgrade and will be a mix of specialist subcontractor management and self-performing using their own plant and equipment. 
 
As of the nature of the work it is a prerequisite from the client for the incumbent to possess prior experience in the delivery of TMR projects so as they are familiar with the spec and can hit the ground running. The project is kicking off in 2-3 weeks so we are actively looking to speak to Civil Project Engineers with Road Construction experience who are keen for short term contract work between now and Xmas.
