CGC Recruitment are experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main and mid-tier Civil Contractors in QLD and Nationally across Australia. We have again been engaged by our key Tier 1 client to provide Civil Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of a key package of works on a Brisbane CBD project, valued just under $1bn.
 
The role will work under the Senior Project Engineer on site and be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a scope of works around $30ml. The package of works has been awarded as a large subcontract so the position will primarily involve managing a Tier 2 Contractor to deliver works as per specification and standard. The role will have the support of x2 Site and a Graduate Engineer and will involve; reviewing designs and making recommendations for changes, ensuring correct construction methodologies are in place, monthly forecasting & reporting and managing subcontractor to deliver the work. Scope of works will focus mainly around Civil, Earthworks and Service relocation works. 
 
We are looking for someone to start at the beginning of April for an initial 6-month period so will be suited to an Engineer who is in between contracts and looking for a short-term opportunity to based in Brisbane CBD. Or if someone is looking to get a foot in the door with a Tier 1 Contractor on an iconic Infrastructure project, now is the time as the scope to continued work is very strong!
