About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design and delivery of civil engineering works associated with urban development projects. You will work closely with senior engineers, designers, surveyors and contractors to ensure successful project execution from concept through to construction.
This role offers strong technical variety and the chance to grow your capability across engineering design, coordination, stakeholder engagement and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of civil infrastructure for land development and subdivision projects, including earthworks, roads, drainage and utilities.
• Prepare engineering drawings, models and technical documentation.
• Undertake site inspections and support construction phase services.
• Liaise with local authorities, service providers, contractors and internal teams.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and delivery tracking.
• Support senior engineers with feasibility assessments, design reviews and approvals processes.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and compliance across all project stages.

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar).
• 2–5 years’ experience in land development, subdivisions, or civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of design principles across roads, drainage, earthworks and utilities.
• Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards, local authority requirements and approvals processes.
• Proficiency with civil design software (e.g., 12D, Civil3D) highly regarded.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and within a supportive team.
