CGC Recruitment have partnered with a long standing client Nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom in QLD and deliver major projects across a number of sectors including Roads, Rail, Defence and Renewable Energies. 
 
They are currently delivering a $500ml Government Funding Transport Infrastructure project and as of project wins in other areas of the business have identified a need for a Project Engineer to look after the Civil scope of the project. 
 
As project Engineer you report to the PM on site and be responsibilities will include; Ordering of materials, Working directly with the design consultant, Day-to-day management of all operations, Day-to-day cost tracking, Submission of payment claims, Organization of all plant and machinery. You will be working in a small size team overseeing a scope of works including; civil, drainage, minor earthworks, external works, road resurfacing, noise walls. 
 
Selection Criteria: 
 
- 5 years post graduate experience 
- Civil Engineering degree 
- Tier 1 Contracting experience is preferred 
- Ability to mentor Junior Engineers 
- Career minded and driven 
 
The role is a permanent position with the project running until 2026 and is working for a contractor that has and established pipeline of work in the South East of QLD and are front runner for upcoming infrastructure works catered for the Olympics.
