The Opportunity
A newly awarded project in the Southeast Brisbane region has created an exciting opportunity for a driven Civil Project Engineer to join the team. Reporting directly to one of Brisbane's most respected Project Management professionals, you will immediately step into a key role delivering a drainage package as part of a subcontract to a Tier 1 contractor.
Due to the size and structure of the organisation, you'll enjoy a high level of autonomy, exposure to decision-making, and a fast-tracked pathway toward becoming a Senior Project Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
As the Civil Project Engineer, you will manage the day-to-day project engineering responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Coordination of onsite activities for drainage and associated civil works
  • Managing subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders
  • QA, ITPs and documentation management
  • Cost control, forecasting and reporting
  • Providing technical support and resolving engineering issues
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Contributing to planning, programming and project delivery outcomes

About You
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • 2-5+ years' experience in civil construction, preferably with drainage, structures or earthworks exposure
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about contributing to a growing business and taking on increased responsibility
