CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors in Brisbane. We currently have 20+ contract staff working on our books actively engaged in some of QLDs most exciting projects and tenders. We have again been engaged by a key who require critical site-based Project Engineering support until the end of the year on a FIFO basis.
 
Reporting to the Construction Manager you will be responsible the preparation of project plans & schedules, the estimation of plant, materials & labour undertake 3rd party verification of constructed works. In addition to this you will be responsible for preparation of project management documentation and managing of work-site OH&S. Scope of works is primarily major bulk earthworks as part of a recently awarded resources project. 
 
The client have a permanent incumbent starting in February so are in need of an experienced Earthworks Project Engineer to hold fort on the project from now until after Australia day. Roster is an 8/6 and will pay a daily rate of up to $1000/day + Super with all other costs being taken care of by the client.
 
To be considered for this role you must tick the following criteria: 
 
- Ready to start within 1 week 
- Strong Bulk Earthworks experience 
- Must have Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contracting experience
- Ability to work independently 
- Prior Mining or Major Resources experience preferred
