This top tier multidisciplinary Civil Contractor have a large pipeline of work heading into 2021 and have identified a requirement for a Project Engineer to join an established site team to deliver a complex infrastructure project 30 mins drive West of Bundaberg. 

They are a self-performing contractor and have a team set up which is tried and tested in the delivery of complex Bridge Re-Construction projects. The role will involve on-site management of day-to-day construction activities including acting as contractors' rep on site, design review of construction methodologies including pilling, leading meetings with client and design teams and identifying defects and developing engineering solutions.

The project is based a 4 hour drive out of Brisbane, so the roster is being ran on a 10/4 DIDO, accommodation, meal allowance and travel being provided by the client. They are open to engaging someone on a full time of contract/day rate basis for the duration of the job which runs from now right until Xmas.

Selection Criteria:

- Degree qualified Civil Engineer 

- 5 years industry experience

- Must possess experience in bored piles 

- Prior experience from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contracting background is preferred

- Good communicator and work well in a team
