The Company:

We're actively seeking a Contract Administrator / Project Engineer for our client who work with blue chip organisation delivering fit out and refurbishment projects ranging from $500k to $40m
They have excellent relationship with organisation like, Apple, Sydney Airport corporation, Virgin, QT Hotels and Dexus to name a few and they're winning a huge amount of work across all four states.
The company is relatively large, they pack a punch in terms of their ability to deliver however not too big where you's get lost in the System!
The business itself has been born out of highly regarded building professionals coming for grass routes and are still very much in touch with the operations. They have excellent systems without all the red tape and bureaucracy tier 1 builders can have so you are able to full fill your role with confidence.

The Role:

With a large project about to kick off we are looking for a Contract Administrator / Project Engineer to take a lead role from a Administration and Design point of view, head office based in Sydney CBD.
The projects is a $50m high end roll out which consist of $2m to $4m projects rolled out over a 2 years period. Being a national roll out some travel will be needed which once a month potentially to different states.
You'll be based in Sydney working in a friendly and collaborative team of construction professionals, you'll need to be display good communication, organisation and the ability to work in a team environment will be imperative.
I see this role suiting someone who comes from a tier one builder who is looking for an opportunity to work for a smaller company where you can really feel part of a team.
