Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering surfacing and pavement projects from start to finish. You’ll work closely with site teams and clients to ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering surfacing and pavement projects from start to finish. You’ll work closely with site teams and clients to ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and managing asphalt, spray seal, and pavement construction projects
- Coordinate materials, subcontractors, and internal resources
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Oversee quality assurance processes to meet project specifications
- Identify and manage remedial works as required
- Prepare and manage project documentation including scopes, programs, and budgets
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Provide technical input and problem-solving support on-site
- Interpret and work with construction specifications and standards
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Travel to regional WA as required (uplift allowances apply)
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 2–5+ years' experience in civil or road construction (surfacing experience highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of asphalt and spray seal processes
- Experience with quality assurance procedures and remedial works
- Familiarity working with construction specifications and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to liaise confidently with clients and teams
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to travel and work in regional WA when required
- Current driver’s licence
- Competitive salary of $160,000 (dependent on experience)
