The Position
  
Reporting into the NSW General Manager and MD you will be responsible for overseeing 2-3 projects (with full teams) whilst running your own project. You will join 2 other Project Directors and oversee jobs valued  from $10M  - $40M within the educational and hospitality space. This role will sit in the exe leadership team and have several career pathways depending on the persons goals. 
  
You will have full responsibility for procurement and methodology, programming, budgeting, project reporting and being the go-to person to resolve any issues on site with clients and subbies as required. This role will sit in the senior leadership team however be hands on in project delivery

About you
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or Civil Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager or Project Director within a Tier 2 construction environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver construct-only and design & construct projects in the education and hospitality sectors, valued up to $40M.
  • Skilled in leading construction teams, including mentoring, training, and performance management.
  • Strong stakeholder management with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, industry best practice, and current QHSE legislation.
  • Commercially savvy with experience in reporting, progress claims, variations, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
  • Proficient in project and site management software including Procore, MS Project, Cheops, and Hammertech.
Salary will be in line with experience and market trends however figures of 250K - $280K can be expected.
