A reputable commercial construction and fit-out contractor is seeking an Intermediate Project Coordinator to join their site team on a prestigious $13M Ballarat-based project.
This role is ideal for a coordinator who enjoys being site-focused and working closely with Project and Site Management to support day-to-day delivery.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will assist with the coordination and administration of site activities from early works through to completion. You’ll be involved across safety, quality, and general project coordination functions.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will assist with the coordination and administration of site activities from early works through to completion. You’ll be involved across safety, quality, and general project coordination functions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with SWMS preparation, review, and compliance
- Managing on-site inductions and subcontractor onboarding
- Supporting ITPs, quality documentation, and inspections
- Coordinating RFIs, shop drawings, and project registers
- Liaising with subcontractors, consultants, and site teams
- Providing general project coordination and reporting support
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a related discipline
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience with a head contractor as a Project Coordinator or Project Administrator
- Strong understanding of site processes and construction workflows
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work well with site teams
- Based in Ballarat or the surrounding region (essential)
- Site-based role on a local Ballarat project
