Established over 15 years ago, this Geotechnical and Environmental specialist consultancy have grown from small beginnings to now employing over 50 staff and boasting an impressive client and project portfolio. The Role
Due to their success, they are looking to appoint a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to be 2IC to the Technical Director. This is a heavily client facing role and offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across a number of sectors as well as project value.
The Responsibilities
Working closely with the Director, Technical Director and wider Geotechnical team, you will be responsible for leading projects of all sizes. You will be the focal point on large jobs and will delegate work as appropriate but will also run your own projects. In all aspects of your work you will be a key decision maker.
You will also act as the 2IC to the Technical Director and take on their responsibilities when not available; thus giving you further career growth and development opportunities.

The Requirements
- 10 years + experience as a geotechnical engineer
- Experience working for both large and small consultancies
- Experience of working on RMS projects of any size - therefore NSW experience is essential
- The ability to run both small and large jobs profitably
- A relevant masters degree will be highly advantageous
