CGC Recruitment is a specialist recruiter in the construction, engineering, property and design space.  

The Company:
A mid-sized, award-winning architecture practice in Sydney, involved in highly creative and high-quality projects across a variety of project sectors including; high-end residential,  mixed-use, commercial, and education are seeking a HR Manager/Practice Manager to start immediately. 
This role will be full time in the office (one day working from home a week after establishing yourself in the role). 

The Role:
  • management of the HR systems (including recruitment, programming, reviews, and staff well-being);
  • management and compliance of the QA, WHS and environmental management systems;
  • assistance with preparation of fee proposals/contracts and management of fee budgets and targets;
  • general office administration.
  • Salary $150-155k Package
  • CBD near Town Hall station 
The office environment is a quieter one currently but the new Principal wants to bring about change, with your help. She wants to create an environment that is more lively and engaging. This role will also focus on employee career development, fulfillment, fun architecture related culture building exercises etc.

Work Experience and Skills:
  • 4+ years experience in a similar role
  • HR degree/qualification or similar (ideal)
  • Experience in the architecture or engineering in a similar role
  • Experience in change management
  • The ability to be proactive and show initiative
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
