The Role
As a Payroll Officer you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll activities. You will have a few years up your belt and not be too senior yet.

The Role
As a Payroll Officer you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll activities. You will have a few years up your belt and not be too senior yet.
Your key duties will include:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees.
- Calculate and process salary adjustments, bonuses, and other compensation-related changes.
- Verify and reconcile timekeeping records.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance with payroll-related requirements.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports and payments.
- Maintain accurate and organized payroll records.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless information flow.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll records.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Adhoc Admin
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role, 2 years minimum.
- You will ideally from the construction or infrastructure industry preciously
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong communication to be able to liaise with different people across the construction industry
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- MYOB
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification in Payroll (e.g., CPP) is a plus.
