Job description

We are looking for Office Manager to join our client, an NSW State government agency, on a contractual basis.
  • 8 month contract opportunity with NSW State Government
  • Location: Lismore, NSW 
  • Pay Rate: $40 per hour + super 
  • 35 Hours per week 
Key accountabilities:
  •  Welcome and assist visitors and new employees to the office providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Supporting our professional staff to deliver a first class service to our clients
  • Data entry, filing, copying, scanning and electronic file management
  • Attend to issues raised by employees regarding office facilities and supplies, liaising with external providers when required
  • Support the running of meetings, such as setting up and restocking meeting rooms.
  • Order and organise stationary and other office supplies.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of events.
  •  Maintain the general upkeep of the office, ensuring that it remains clean and free from potential hazards.
  •  Maintain the fleet cars for the office – scheduling services, restocking consumables, arranging cleaning
  •  General administrative tasks
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail and accounts email correspondence
Key skills and experience to be successful:
  • Balance and deliver multiple administrative and clerical support activities and services in line with agreed standards, time frames and milestones, given tight time frames and the need to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High level of initiative and willingness to do it takes to takes to get things done
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills including following instructions
  • Ability to work well under pressure and problem-solve
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages
