Job description
A large family owned cleaning and facilities services company with offices across the east coast are looking for an experienced evening/night supervisor to lead a team at a flagship CBD commercial asset.
Reporting to a day manager and working from 3 till 11pm, Monday to Friday you will lead a team of 30 directly employed cleaning staff, ensuring that all services are delivered to the expected standard. You will
- Monitor all operating equipment to ensure that it is in good working order, and respond to any unsafe work conditions, faults, and repairs to the appropriate department of external service provider
- Carry out routine site inspections
- Undertake tool box talks
- Assist in the training of new staff, ensuring they understand what is expected
To be successful in this role you will have a large amount of experience in cleaning operations, ideally with exposure to a similar environment. You will be well organized, resourceful and have a hands on approach to the training and development of staff. To succeed, you will have a ‘can do’ attitude without the compromise of safety, be resilient with strong customer service and communication skills and be able to establish good working relationships.
