Seeking a Leading Hand for a commercial fit out and refurbishment contractor who have a project kicking off in Chippendale. Our client have established a solid reputation for being able to deliver an excellent project to high standards, which has seen them win a good amount of repeat business. 

With a new $7m commercial refurbishment project about to start in Chippendale we are looking for a Leading Hand to work under a Site Manager. The main focus will be managing contractors, reviewing safe work method statements, work program and workmanship while driving the project forward to achieve agreed program.
 
You'll be a carpenter who is looking to move up through the ranks to a Supervisor position over the next 12 months. You'll ideally have a good understanding of fast paced commercial fit out projects however general building projects from $1m up would also be considered.
 
As the Leading Hand you'll supervise trades occasionally assisting with carpentry work however this is not a "on the tools" role.
