We're seeking experienced Hydraulic Technicians for upcoming FIFO placements to support fixed plant and mobile equipment maintenance. This is a premium opportunity to work on cutting-edge assets in a high-performance environment.
Role Details
- Rate: $76.25/hr + super
- Roster: 2:1 or 2:2 FIFO from Perth
- Hours: 12-hour shifts
- Start Date: Approx. 4 weeks from now
- Location: WA Pilbara region
- Certs: Cert IV in Engineering (Hydraulics) or equivalent mandatory
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems across fixed and mobile plant
- Conduct pressure testing, hose replacement, and cylinder rebuilds
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
- Perform preventative maintenance and fault-finding on pumps, valves, and motors
- Collaborate with fitters, boilermakers, and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient workflows
- Maintain accurate service records and comply with site safety protocols
- Cert IV in Engineering (Hydraulics) or similar — non-negotiable
- Proven experience in hydraulic maintenance (mining, heavy industry, or OEM)
- Strong understanding of fluid power systems and componentry
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Work with a Tier 1 operator known for its scale, safety, and long-term stability
