HSE Advisor - FIFO (2/1) | Civil & Resources Projects
An opportunity is available for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a leading Australian civil contractor delivering major projects across remote WA locations. This role suits a safety professional who thrives in FIFO environments and understands the demands of large-scale civil and resource sector works.
The Role:
Reporting to the Project Leadership team, you will play a key role in driving safety performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture across site operations.

The Role:
Reporting to the Project Leadership team, you will play a key role in driving safety performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture across site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain HSE management systems aligned with legislative and company requirements
- Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations
- Provide HSE advice and support to project and site teams
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and training sessions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety and environmental performance
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure compliance with project HSE standards
- Minimum 3 years' experience in HSE roles within civil construction, ideally on remote or FIFO sites
- Demonstrable experience working in the civil and/or resources sector
- Proven background working for an Australian Tier-1/2 or main contractor
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence site teams
- Perth-based and available to work a 2/1 FIFO roster
- Certificate IV in OSH/WHS (essential)
- Diploma in WHS (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (highly regarded)
- Full Australian working rights (essential)
- Ability to work FIFO from Perth to remote project locations
- $120,000 - $150,000 base salary (dependent on experience)
- Superannuation + site uplift
- 2/1 FIFO roster
