Join a leading contractor delivering works on the Rio Tinto Hope Downs site in the Pilbara region. This is a high-profile project requiring a safety-focused professional to ensure all activities are carried out in line with Rio Tinto’s HSE standards and statutory requirements.

The Role

Monitor and enforce HSE compliance
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Lead incident investigations and complete timely reporting
Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety training as required
Support site teams with hazard identification and implementation of controls
Promote and drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with Rio Tinto HSE standards and legislative requirements

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience as an HSE Advisor within civil or construction projects
Previous FIFO experience highly regarded
Relevant HSE qualifications (Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety)
Rio Tinto induction required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Current Driver’s Licence and White Card
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

$85 per hour + Super
FIFO ex-Perth, with flights, accommodation, and meals provided
Weekly pay
2:1 roster
5-6 months work
