We are seeking a motivated and experienced HSE Advisor to join our client’s team in a dynamic hybrid capacity, working between their Perth head office and conducting regular site visits to FMG Solomon.

In this role, you’ll be a key driver of health, safety, and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with legislative and client standards, while fostering a proactive safety culture across both corporate and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert HSE support and guidance to both corporate and site-based teams
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and initiatives
Assist in incident investigations and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Facilitate HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks
Liaise with FMG representatives and subcontractors to maintain high safety standards
Maintain HSE documentation and reporting in accordance with company and client requirements

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 5+ years' experience in a HSE Advisor or similar role
Strong knowledge of WA OHS legislation, mining regulations, and industry standards
Experience working on remote mining or construction sites (FMG experience highly regarded)
Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and travel regularly to site
Valid driver’s licence and ability to pass site medicals and inductions

On Offer

Start Date - 13th October
Perth based hourly rate - $70 Per Hour + Super
FIFO Rate - $85 Per Hour + Super
Weekly Pay
Approximately 8 weeks work
Potential for ongoing work across future projects
