Due to increased project activity, we are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Officer to join us on a 6-month contract. You'll play a vital role in supporting our site teams and ensuring compliance with WHS regulations across multiple sites.

The Role
As our Health and Safety Officer, you'll be responsible for:
- Conducting site safety inspections and audits
- Ensuring compliance with relevant WHS legislation and company policies
- Preparing and reviewing SWMS and safety documentation
- Delivering toolbox talks and site inductions
- Investigating incidents and near-misses and preparing reports
- Supporting the site team with practical, proactive safety guidance
- Maintaining records and assisting with safety-related administration
- Proven experience in a WHS role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and best practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple job sites
- Relevant qualifications in Work Health & Safety
- White Card
