We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join the delivery team for the Nowergup Rail Modification Shed project which is located North of the river - near Alkimos. This role will be based on site and will play a critical part in ensuring all works are completed safely, in compliance with relevant legislation, client requirements, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site HSE support and leadership to ensure a safe working environment
• Conduct site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments
• Oversee compliance for high-risk activities including cranes, EWPs, HVAC installation, and electrical works
• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks
• Review and monitor SWMS, JHAs, and other safety documentation
• Support supervisors and subcontractors in maintaining HSE standards
• Record and report incidents, near misses, and corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and relevant legislation

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
• Proven experience as an HSE Advisor in construction or rail infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of WA safety regulations and standards
• Experience overseeing multiple trades including cranes, electrical, HVAC, and civil works
• Confident in conducting inductions, safety meetings, and documentation reviews
• Good communication skills with the ability to influence and coach teams on safety best practice
• Current Construction White Card
• EWP High Risk Licence (desirable)
