Job description
We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join the delivery team for the Nowergup Rail Modification Shed project which is located North of the river - near Alkimos. This role will be based on site and will play a critical part in ensuring all works are completed safely, in compliance with relevant legislation, client requirements, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site HSE support and leadership to ensure a safe working environment
- Conduct site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments
- Oversee compliance for high-risk activities including cranes, EWPs, HVAC installation, and electrical works
- Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks
- Review and monitor SWMS, JHAs, and other safety documentation
- Support supervisors and subcontractors in maintaining HSE standards
- Record and report incidents, near misses, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and relevant legislation
- Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
- Proven experience as an HSE Advisor in construction or rail infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of WA safety regulations and standards
- Experience overseeing multiple trades including cranes, electrical, HVAC, and civil works
- Confident in conducting inductions, safety meetings, and documentation reviews
- Good communication skills with the ability to influence and coach teams on safety best practice
- Current Construction White Card
- EWP High Risk Licence (desirable)
- $70 - $75 Per Hour + Super
- Perth based role - Home every evening
- Weekly Pay
- 5:2 Roster
- 10 weeks work
- Potential for ongoing work across future projects
