Are you a dynamic and experienced Fire Services Engineer looking to take your career to the next level? Our client, a renowned Building Services Consultancy based in Brisbane, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Fire Services Engineer. With a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the success of high-profile projects.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Planning: Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative and efficient fire protection solutions for a variety of building projects. This includes conducting site assessments, preparing calculations, and creating detailed design documentation.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local and national fire safety regulations and codes, ensuring that all designs and installations adhere to the necessary standards. Provide expert advice to clients on compliance matters.
• Project Management: Take ownership of fire services aspects within projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Coordinate with architects, builders, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Systems Integration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines to integrate fire protection systems into overall building services designs. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing engineers to optimize system functionality.
• Client Interaction: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations. Provide clear and concise communication on project progress, addressing any concerns or questions promptly
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of designs, specifications, and installations to ensure the highest quality and reliability of fire protection systems. Implement best practices to enhance overall system performance.

  
Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in fire services engineering, with a focus on building projects. Experience working within a consultancy setting is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of industry-standard software for fire protection design. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools is an advantage.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information to clients and project teams in a clear and understandable manner.
• Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
