A leading Fire Protection business covering the East Coast and Darwin, delivering high-quality projects across Australia. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wet & Dry Fire Project Manager to join our team in Brisbane. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure projects, including the prestigious Cross River Rail project.

Position Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of commercial and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of wet and dry fire systems installations on various projects, with a particular focus on the Cross River Rail project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the wet and dry fire systems installation efforts for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet project objectives.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
  • Ensure that safety protocols and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, including site supervisors and technicians.
  • Monitor project progress, track expenses, and report on key performance indicators to senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Fire Industry Qualifications or Engineering Degree
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in wet and dry fire systems installation, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Australian fire safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
