An established and respected building services engineering consultancy in Perth is seeking a Fire & Hydraulic Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of commercial, residential, health, defence and mixed-use projects, with strong support from experienced senior engineers.
This role offers exposure across the full design and construction lifecycle, making it ideal for an engineer looking to strengthen their technical capability and progress their career within building services consulting.

Key Responsibilities
- Fire protection and hydraulic services design and documentation
- Concept, schematic, detailed design and construction phase support
- Design of fire sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, pumps, tanks and wet services
- Hydraulic services design including cold water, hot water, drainage and sanitary systems
- Preparation of calculations, specifications, reports and authority submissions
- Ensure compliance with the NCC (BCA), Australian Standards and local authority requirements
- Coordination with mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural teams
- Liaison with clients, contractors, builders and approval authorities
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience as a Fire Engineer, Fire Protection Engineer or Hydraulic Engineer
- Background in a building services consultancy environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of AS 2118, AS 2419, AS 3500, NCC / BCA
- Experience delivering commercial and residential building projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
