Job description
Our client specialises in delivering luxury, architecturally designed homes and bespoke residential projects. They have been in business for nearly 10 years and work across the Eastern Suburbs and Northern Beaches. They are based on the Northern Beaches and will be moving to new offices in Manly
You’ll be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for high-end residential builds. Working closely with our design, project management, and construction teams, you’ll ensure each project is cost-effective without compromising on quality or design intent.
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for high-end residential builds. Working closely with our design, project management, and construction teams, you’ll ensure each project is cost-effective without compromising on quality or design intent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and bills of quantities from architectural drawings and specifications.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
- Analyse plans, add value-engineering options, and identify potential cost savings.
- Support the tendering and procurement process, preparing submissions and breakdowns.
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to refine budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain and update cost databases and supplier relationships.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as an Estimator in high-end or luxury residential construction.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and finishes typical of premium homes.
- Proficient in estimating software's
- Excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and analytical skills.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
