CGC Brisbane are seeking a capable and professional Civil Estimator for a new role, supporting an independent and growing contractor close to the Gold Coast. 

The company are already well established in the civil subdivisions, and wider infrastructure sectors across Queensland and interstate, offering a good working culture and impressive staff retention rate

Your role will be to support bids and tenders for the Subdivisions side of the business in Queensland; by being agile, competitive, accurate and timely with correspondence, seeing through the projects from early works to completion.

To perform this role - you will need a thorough understanding of;

- Subdivisions Construction

- bulk and detailed excavation activities

- plant hire, and use of subcontractors

- earthworks, utilities and roads construction

- Appropriate construction standards

- local authority legislation

- working drawings

Ideal candidate: 

- Experience estimating for jobs in Subdivisions construction

- Previous background working with a known civil contractor 

- Degree in civil engineering, construction management or equivalent

- Ability to guide a business to tender during a growth phase

- Exceptional work ethic and drive 

You must have the immediate right to live and work in Australia for this role
