Job description
The Company:
- Established for some 17 years this successful builder are quietly building their reputation through excellent planning and resource management while executing and delivering projects to a high standard.
- Covering building and refurbishment projects in the commercial, education, residential, rail infrastructure and retail sectors they continue to grow through excellent customer satisfaction and delivering a quality project.
- Due to continued success we are looking for an Estimator to join the business on a full time permanent basis.
- As the Estimator you will take off qualities for all materials, labour and time requirements, develop a scope while identifying any buildability issues to ensure client requirements are met.
- Ideally we are looking for an Estimator who has some 3 to 5 years’ experience working in the fit out / refurbishment sector Estimating projects to $5m. You'll be able to work autonomously with accuracy and with attention to detail.
- If you feel you have hit a glass ceiling with your current company and are looking for an opportunity where you are able to forge a career for yourself this could be the role you are looking for. '
- A strong Commercial background.
- A mixture of fit and new build experience would be preferable.
- Fully competent with Buildsoft.
- Have your own industry contacts.
- Strong client relationships.
- Ability to tender hard dollar and competitive tenders.
