Job description

CGC Brisbane are looking right now for talented Estimators, to progress and work with an established national Civil and Infrastructure Contractor in Brisbane - this could involve; commercial / CBD projects, main roads, bulk and detailed excavation work, and landscaping 

The market is looking very positive and the contractor are looking to bolster their pre-contracts team to be competitive, and highlight their quality offering to the market.

The role:
- Working as part of an experienced project team
- Present new and follow up on existing tenders / proposals, including ad-hoc site visits
- Develop and grow networks and relationships with other clients / contractors
- Provide accurate and efficient breakdowns on cost and transparent itemisation on materials, plant, labour and project schedule

Ideal candidate:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
- Strong Background in estimating within Civil Engineering 
- Previous experience and background with a Construction / Civil Contractor
- Good knowledge and experienced within the Queensland market
- Insights and networks around materials, and ability to read working drawings / design plans
- Site experience is highly advantageous
