The Company:
Our client is an established and well run building contractor who are Best Practice and Department of Commerce accredited. They work across the Health Infrastructure, Department of Education and Private sector clients delivering construction and refurbishment projects ranging from $1m to $10m.
With a great culture and work environment, established systems and strong client base this is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Estimator to progress your career to Estimating Manager / Bid Manager.
The Role:
As a Estimating Manager, you'll:
You'll be used to working in a busy office environment where communication, collaboration and team work comes naturally. Working with and Managing the Estimators time, work load and work quality. You'll collaborate with Project Managers and the GM playing an integral part in winning work, handing over all documentation to the relevant PM to deliver the project.
As a best practice and department of commerce approved builder they have a steady flow of tenders coming through this avenue and via their commercial clients so you must be able to be flexible and be able to price both negotiated and hard dollar tenders using a mix of systems, including buildsoft, excel and/or an internal system.

- Manage 4 Estimators.
- You'll work closely with their sub contractor base to further develop the strong relationships.
- You'll work with PM and GM to develop methodologies.
- Review Estimates to ensure accuracy and detail.
