Job Title: Electrical Supply Industry Trainer

Salary: $130,000 - $140,000
  
About Us:
Our client is a renowned multidisciplinary consultancy synonymous with excellence in the M&E sector. They are currently seeking an Electrical Supply Trainer to join their esteemed team. As the new ESI Trainer, you’ll play an important part of the team in delivering high-quality accredited and non-accredited training at Sydney locations.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  
Training and Assessment:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for electrical supply professionals.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the competence and proficiency of trainees.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
HV/LV Switching Expertise:
  • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and practical experience in High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) switching.
  • Provide hands-on training to ensure safe and efficient HV/LV switching procedures.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and integrate best practices into training modules.
Substation and Distribution Knowledge:
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of substation design, operation, and maintenance.
  • Deliver training on distribution systems, emphasizing efficiency, reliability, and safety.
  • Keep abreast of technological developments in substations and distribution networks.
Cable Jointing Experience/Knowledge:
  • Share expertise in cable jointing techniques and procedures.
  • Conduct practical sessions to enhance trainees' proficiency in cable jointing.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and innovations in cable jointing technology.
 
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a training and assessing position within the electrical supply industry.
  • Substantial HV/LV switching experience with a strong understanding of associated safety protocols.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of substations, distribution systems, and cable jointing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate trainees.
