Role: Electrical Cadet Trainer
Location: Sydney, NSW
Salary: $110,000 - $120,000

They are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Cadet Trainer to join their dynamic team and play a key role in developing the next generation of electrical professionals.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  
Training and Development:
  • Facilitate comprehensive training programs for electrical cadets.
  • Provide hands-on instruction in electrical fitting and installation techniques.
  • Support the development of practical skills in HV/LV installations, cable joining, and lineman duties.
Trade Certificate Expertise:
  • Hold a valid Electrical Fitting or Electrician trade certificate.
  • Demonstrate practical experience and proficiency in HV/LV installation practices.
  • Bring expertise as a Cable Joiner/Linesman, contributing valuable insights to training modules.
Exposure to Transmission, Generation, and Distribution:
  • Possess knowledge and experience in transmission, generation, and distribution within the electrical industry.
  • Share practical insights and real-world scenarios to enrich the cadets' understanding of industry operations.
Cadet Program Oversight:
  • Guide electrical cadets through a 6-month training program while they complete their TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Monitor cadet progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their professional development.
  
Requirements:
  • Valid Electrical Fitting or Electrician trade certificate.
  • Proven experience in HV/LV installations, cable joining, and/or lineman duties.
  • Exposure to transmission, generation, and distribution in the electrical industry.
  • Willingness to guide and mentor electrical cadets through a structured training program.
  • Currently holding or willing to obtain the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
