Summary

CGC Recruitment are working in partnership with expanding Commercial & Industrial Construction head contractor who have recently been awarded several projects across Perth metro area and as a result, have a new opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join the team. 

Over the past 5 years, this contractor has experienced significant growth due to their high quality project delivery, excellent team culture and environment, coupled with being a market leader within the Industrial construction market - Logistics Facilities, Distribution Centres, High spec Warehouses etc. on projects up to $60m. 

Position Overview: As a Contract Administrator, this is an office based role (out of a fully fitted out modern office) with site visits as and when required. You will work closely with the senior leadership and site delivery teams,  ensuring seamless contract administration and maintaining strong relationships with project stakeholders and sub contractors. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the administration of construction contracts, reviewing and interpreting contract terms and conditions.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication among project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project budgets, invoices, and payments with precision, ensuring strict adherence to contract terms.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and address potential contract risks, contributing to effective risk management strategies.
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with project schedules, quality benchmarks, and regulatory mandates.
  • Produce regular progress reports and updates that provide valuable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management /  Business /  Engineering or related field. 
  • Demonstrated track record as a Contract Administrator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, terms, and legal implications.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
