This hire will be joining established and well-supported estimating team in a thriving NSW office. You’ll work under a dynamic and down-to-earth Estimating Manager, in a business known for its strong relationships, high standards, and genuine team culture.

Due to ongoing growth, my client is looking for an Intermediate to Senior level Estimator to join their Sydney team of four. You’ll take ownership of 1–2 tenders at a time, preparing detailed estimates and bid submissions while collaborating closely with the Estimating Manager, peers, and cadets.

Due to ongoing growth, my client is looking for an Intermediate to Senior level Estimator to join their Sydney team of four. You’ll take ownership of 1–2 tenders at a time, preparing detailed estimates and bid submissions while collaborating closely with the Estimating Manager, peers, and cadets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing cost plans, take-offs, and tender submissions
- Pricing prelims and assessing subcontractor pricing
- Developing methodology, program, and bid strategy
- Liaising with the project and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- 5+ years estimating experience with a commercial builder
- Sound understanding of local construction methods and trade pricing
- Strong Buildsoft skills and solid subcontractor relationships
