Job description

We are looking for an experienced Program Support Officer to join our client, an NSW State government agency, on a contractual basis.

The Client
Our client is the leading transport and roads agency for New South Wales. The organisation is responsible for improving the customer experience, planning, program administration, policy, regulation, procuring transport services, infrastructure and freight. 

Primary purpose of the role
The role provides high level program management support to team members and senior management. This includes supporting the development, monitoring and reporting for the delivery of programs.

Key accountabilities
  • Coordinate the development, monitoring and reporting of program management systems to ensure the timely and accurate provision of programs and reports.
  • Contribute to achieving operational efficiency by ensuring efficient operations of business processes, providing administration support, coordinating reporting and identifying opportunities to improve business systems and processes.
  • Provide a central liaison point, including managing internal and external enquiries, such as ministerial correspondence, in line with legislation and TfNSW policy, or referring enquiries to the appropriate business representative in an efficient and timely manner to ensure stakeholder expectations are met and managed.
  • Coordinate and contribute to system and process improvements, consistent application of user procedures and the integrity and maintenance of program data and record management systems to ensure best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Organise meetings and conferences, including arranging venues, catering, sending invitations, and preparation of agendas and meeting documentation.
  • Provide human resource and financial management support, including reconciliation of accounts and personnel timesheets, procurement of goods and services, administration of budgets and monitoring of expenses to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Maintain a high level of service to stakeholders by maintaining effective relationships, providing timely advice and resolutions and negotiating agreed timeframes for resolution.
MUST HAVE:
  • Eligibility work full-time in Australia 
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Previous experience in FM
    Demonstrated high-level knowledge of Program/Project coordination
  • Extensive experience using SAP EQUIP, TRIM,EXCEL, and Objective
