Civil Supervisor
 
Supervise the construction of a $25m highway project for an established civils contractor who specialise in the delivery of transport infrastructure projects. Our client is very keen to speak to Supervisors or Superintendents with a strong background delivering MRWA projects. The initial project will last 12 months and involves the construction of an access road in the Geraldton area. This is a FIFO opportunity where you will be working closely with the Project Manager whilst dealing with sub-contractors and relevant local authorities as well as the client - MRWA.
  
This is an opportunity to join a highly successful mid-tier civil engineering company with a passion for delivering transport infrastructure projects throughout Perth metro and regional WA. The privately owned main contractor has over 30 years of trading history and works for a range of government agencies, local government and private clients with typical projects involving the construction of roads, bridges and pavement.

Candidate Criteria:

• At least 3-5 years’ experience working as a Civil Site Supervisor
• Knowledge of road construction including earthworks and drainage
• MRWA experience – highly desirable
• Ability to work on a 10:4 roster
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• High regard and compliance to all HSE policies and procedures.
• Are comfortable with technology and able to use standard programs such as MS Project, Excel, Word.
• Construction White Card.
• Drivers Licence.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Permanent Australian working rights.
