Site Engineer | 5/2 DIDO | 3 Month Contract

Job description

CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have been approached by a new clients to source a ambitious Site Engineer to work on a project basis for a 2 month period on a civil infrastructure project West of Brisbane. 
 
Reporting to a Project Engineer responsible for assisting in the development of ITPs, putting schedules together and responsible for on site QA. Scopes of work will be a great variety across different projects and will include: bored piers, structural concrete foundations, minor earthworks, pavements and other in ground services and Tripple Blend Stabilisation, drainage, earthworks, sealing, concrete drainage structures.
 
Selection Criteria: 
 
- Degree in Civil Engineering 
- Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience 
- Prior experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractor 
- Ability to manage subcontractors and communicate with middle management 
- Driven and keen to learn 

The role is an immediate requirement for a 12 week period to cover for an existing Engineer who is going on leave. Therefore will be suited to a Site based Engineer who is in between projects or looking to get a foot in the door with an established Tier 2 Contractor on a TMR project.
