CGC Recruitment are working alongside a long-standing client who are a National Civil Contractor who deliver complex projects such as roads, airports, pavements, utilities and bulk earthworks etc.

They have recently been awarded a $20ml project 30 mins drive South of Brisbane and have identified a key requirement fort a Site Engineer to join the business on a full-time basis. Scope of works includes Road Widening, Drainage, Upgraded Share Paths & Safety Improvements.
 
Reporting to a Project Manager you will be responsible prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. In addition to this you will perform quality control (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. Interact daily with clients and represent them in the field. 
 
The role will give the right applicant an opportunity to make their mark on a flagship project in the local overseeing things from contract award right though to practical completion.
 
Selection Criteria: 
 
- 2+ years Civil Construction experience 
- Civil Engineering degree
- Prior experience for a Tier 2 Contractor 
- Must have excellent communication skills 
- Driven and career motivated
