Job description

CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction & engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have again been approached by one of our main tier clients to source a Site based Administrator to provide Admin support on site as part of a major construction project.

We are actively looking to speak to switched on Administration personnel who come from a Building or Civil Construction background and key responsibilities will include:

  • Able to build good relationships both upstream (to client) and downstream (to contractor)
  • Check Invoices received
    • Process invoices weekly (check rates etc. against contracts and confirm with relevant people that claimed work is performed)
    • Manage further invoicing approval process
    • Filter pass-through invoices and put them on a separate register, rename, number and save
  • Assist with Invoicing
    • Assist with preparation of invoices (check against contract, check CPI/WPI etc)
    • Prepare invoices with pass-through costs
  • Coordinate monthly meter readings
  • Check medical gas deliveries
  • Order stationary
  • Filing (server/sharepoint)
  • Check correspondence (English, but also Aconex references, contract clause numbers)
  • Monitor deliverables and remind team and contractors
  • Minute meetings
  • Organise meetings

The role is an immediate requirement and is a 6 month renewable contract based close to Brisbane City Centre and will offer the right candidate an opportunity to work with an industry leader among a tried and tested team of construction professionals.
