Senior Supervisor – Civil Earthworks (FIFO 2/1)
FIFO ex-Perth | $180k–$200k + Super + 30% Site Uplift
 
A well-established civil and mining contractor is seeking a seasoned Senior Supervisor to lead large-scale earthworks operations across regional WA. This role is ideal for a proven site leader with deep experience in civil infrastructure and a strong track record delivering projects in the $20 million range.

The Role:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in the successful delivery of large civil construction packages. You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing crews and plant, ensuring HSE compliance, and meeting program targets on complex earthworks scopes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead site teams across bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, pads, and associated infrastructure
  • Coordinate subcontractors, internal crews, and plant to optimise productivity
  • Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Monitor progress against program and report to project leadership
  • Ensure all works are delivered to the highest safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Foster a positive team culture and mentor emerging supervisors and operators
 
About You:
  • 10–15 years’ experience in a site supervisory role within civil or mining infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale projects valued around $20 million
  • Strong leadership skills in remote FIFO environments
  • Solid understanding of bulk earthworks methods, HSE legislation, and project delivery
  • White Card, Trainer & Assessor (TAE40116 or equivalent), and Section 26 appointment (or eligibility)
  • Current driver’s licence and other relevant industry tickets
  • Must have full Australian working rights (citizen, PR, or unrestricted visa)
