Our client is a leading Brisbane based engineering consultancy who have a fantastic reputation on the market within SE QLD.

They work on a wide range of projects from high rise buildings using post tensioned concrete to steel framed industrial buildings and everything in between.

They have been established in Brisbane for decades and have created a fantastic company culture with an open-door policy and friendly and loyal approach.

 
The role

 
Due to ongoing growth they currently require and experienced Structural Engineer with 4 to 5 years buildings design experience to join their team.

Reporting to the Director you will take to lead on small to medium projects and be part of a project team on larger building jobs, you will also take an active role in mentoring and guiding graduate Engineers, reviewing and checking their work as well as being a key figure in the office day to day.

As the company and the role grow and develop, your responsibilities will too, and you will have the chance to progress in your career towards Senior, Principal and Director.

 
The requirements

 
To be considered for this opportunity you will have;

• 8 years + experience as a Structural Design Engineer
• Degree in Structural Engineering
• Experience working on a broad range of building types
• Practical exposure to QLD or Australian codes/standards
