CGC Recruitment have been engaged by a National specialist Contractor who have recently been awarded a raft of challenging projects including the largest Deconstruction program in the Southern Hemisphere.
This Australian owned contractor are market leaders within their space and offer bespoke Front-End Engineering and Construction solutions to a wide range of clients making them a key part of the current Construction boom across Australia. They have projects ranging focusing on Deconstruction/Demolition, Detailed Excavation, Asbestos & Hazardous Waste Remediation and Site Preparation Works.
Due to organic growth and a multitude of project wins they have recently identified an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver a $200ml project in regional Australia. The position will report directly into the Sate Manager and as of the flat management structure in the role will offer a chance to make key decisions and become a strategic part of the senior leadership team.

Managing a team 15-20 staff and have full project responsibility which will include development and control of budgets, reporting of project progress, technical and delivery strategies, risk, project schedules, deliverables, commercial and procurement arrangements.
The project is running a family friendly 2/1 FIFO roster from Brisbane with the project duration expected for the at least 2 years so applicants must be well versed and comfortable working on a long-term FIFO basis working in remote environment.
We are looking to speak to driven Project Managers who are team leaders, are contractually very switched on and have the capacity to make key decisions which will affect critical project outcomes. To be considered for this role you must possesses the following:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 10 years civil construction experience
- Prior experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Civil Contractor self-performing works
- Ability to lead a team but also report up into a Operations Director
- Project delivery experience on civil construction projects between $50-200ml
- Must be an Australian permanent resident
