CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors. One of our main clients has recently been shortlisted for a major Transport Infrastructure project and have identified the need for a Senior Project Engineer during the ECI phase.
 
Reporting to Senior Management you will be expected to provide engineering expertise to develop construction methodologies, assist with tender submissions and schedules as well as develop planning and procurement strategies. Scope of works will consist of Civil & Earthworks, Complex Structures, Rail Re-alignment and building works.  
 
We are actively looking to speak with experienced civil engineers who have a proven background in the design and delivery of major road and rail upgrade projects and posses prior experience of assisting tenders across the QLD region. Knowledge of both local standards and specifications would be a strong advantage and as of the nature of the scope of work applicants must have a prior experience in the delivery of  Bulk Earthworks, Drainage, Rail Alignment, Combines Service Routes type projects.
 
Selection Criteria: 
 
- Civil Engineering Degree
- Experience in he delivery of complex road or rail projects 
- At least 8 years post graduate experience
- Prior experience working in a pre-contracts team 
- Work with minimal supervision and able to create and discuss engineering solutions
