CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have again been approached by one of our clients to source a Senior Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of the Structures Scope of part of a major Infrastructure project in Brisbane. 

As Senior Engineer you will be expected to hit the ground running and work with minimal supervision being responsible for plan and estimate and quantities of materials required for all main structural concrete components where required; monitor and supervise concrete pours ensuring QA is met; develop construction methodologies and procedures, maintaining project documentation, ensure deigns requirement are met as per specifications and interface with design teams. Scope of works will include: structural works (pilling, head stocks, girders, concrete works). 

The project is moving into a peak period of construction so this is an immediate need for a 4-6 month period so applicants need to be tried and tested in the delivery of complex Civil/Structural projects working in a brownfield environment.  As of the nature of the work this opportunity would suite a Senior Engineer who may be in between projects or interested in setting up as an ABN sole trader to provide engineering expertise on projects across QLD. Rate of pay will depend on experience and will range between $750-1000/day + Super.
