Safety Advisor Our client is a leading Australian construction company known for its innovative approach, collaborative culture, and commitment to building a better future. Due to continued growth, their Queensland division is looking for a talented and experienced Safety Advisor to join an existing team on a landmark $400M health project in the southern suburbs of Brisbane.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in the continued success of a high-profile, complex project. You'll be joining a team 12 months into its delivery, with approximately 2.5 years remaining. They are looking for a passionate individual who can hit the ground running, work closely with their project team, and ensure the highest standards of safety are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert WHS advice and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and management.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and implementing preventative measures.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective actions.
- Drive a positive safety culture on site through proactive engagement, coaching, and toolbox talks.
- Ensure the project's compliance with all relevant WHS legislation, standards, and company policies.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar WHS role within the Australian building industry.
- Proven experience on large-scale, complex projects, ideally within the health, commercial, or institutional sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to safety management.
- Relevant WHS qualifications (e.g., Diploma of WHS).
